Cermony of the Dead for Jess

On this day in Mexico,
Sunday, November 2,
the adults honor and pay tribute to
those who have died during the year
and are still "roaming around" ...

They make a loaf of bread
(see Jess's loaf in the red paper above)
and place it near the altar.

Last night we had candy on the altar,
the children's way of paying tribute ...
