Victim: Jess Jadrnicek Case:
020629765 Pedestrian
Date
of occurrence: May 25, 2002 2:27am
Outcome: Hit-Run resulting in the Death of Jess Jadrnicek
Per your request of 9/30/03 for us to recap our experiences and desires
The Result: The hit-run death of our 24-year old son Jess Jadrnicek was tragic. The blossoming of his brilliance and youthful potential has been brought to an end. The effect on his family, fiancée, and worldwide network of friends has been devastating.
Our Intentions: We have continually asked that John Wong take responsibility for his actions. We understand and appreciate the time and effort spent in behalf of our son Jess by the District Attorney Office.
Further Tragedy:
We have all experienced the full impact of another tragedy for the past
16 months and 22 criminal hearings.
During this time, John Wong and his representatives have continually
avoided taking responsibility for the hit and run death of our son.
Our Hope: We hope for closure on this unending tragedy for our family, and Jess’s fiancée and friends. We also hope that future victims of hit and run accidents on the streets of San Francisco can count on timely accountability by all parties involved. Perhaps this case can serve as a future deterrent to those contemplating the avoidance of responsibility.
Therefore Our Desire: We respectfully request that the Criminal Justice System make every effort to hold John Wong responsible for his actions and to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law, including jail time.
Following is a brief list of our perceptions and
recollections of actions surrounding the death of our son. Sources are listed for your verification:
